Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving weekend, we traveled to Smith Center to be with Blake's family for a few days.  Blake had to drive back to York Thursday night so that he could be ready to open the store at 6 am Black Friday, but thankfully he was able to come back yet Friday night to spend the rest of the weekend with everyone.  We had a great time relaxing, playing games, eating good food, and watching the kids play together.  I was happy to see that by the end of the weekend, Brooks was really enjoying playing with his cousins.  He's finally growing up and realizing other kids can be fun! :)  Here are some pictures of the weekend.  One of the highlights I think was going over to Blake's granddad's to help rake up the leaves.  The kids had a blast!
Can you see Pearl almost buried? :)

There were lots of laughs from Brooks!

Brooks probably played the best with his cousin Pearl.  Even though she is 2 years older, she did very well sharing with Brooks and showing him how to play with some of the toys.

Brooks and all the other kids also enjoyed several story times.
The marble ramp was a favorite of Brooks' this time.  He did try and put the marbles in his mouth a couple times, so we kept a close eye on him while he played, but he loved it!

On Sunday before everyone left, the kids helped Grandma put up her Christmas decorations.  After watching a bit, Brooks was ready to get in on the action!

We attempted to get a picture of all the grandkids and Grandma and Papa.  This is the best one I got, hopefully someone else got some better ones!
After a fun weekend, I think the next picture explains well how we all felt!

Glad to see Amos made an appearance in the background of one of your photos, ha ha! I agree, it was great to see the cousins playing together, now that they're all getting a little bigger and are excited to see each other. Fun! The Grandma/Papa/grandkids photos I got are all on FB, if you like any of them I can email you a copy. I think some turned out ok. And others are just plain funny :)
